Day 1 – Arrival and Check-In

You will be staying at the International House. Day 2 – Flavors of the French Quarter Culinary History and Tasting Tour | Lunch

Flavors of the French Quarter Culinary History and Tasting Tour | This tour will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culinary history, as you walk, talk and taste your way through New Orleans.  As you stroll leisurely through the French Quarter with your tour guide, you will hear stories behind the legendary pre Civil War restaurants, including some that are remembered only through the meals they once served.  Tour selected historic restaurants including two of the oldest (Antoine’s and Tujajue’s established in 1840 and 1856 respectively).

Creole and Cajun Interactive Cooking Class.

This cooking class will focus on traditional Creole and Cajun foods.  You will learn to cook authentic regional cuisine, with intimate classes taught by notable New Orleans chefs.  No matter your skill level you will feel right at home with the talented chefs. Then relax and savor your creations with an elegant meal paired with fine wines.
